AWT Continuous Improvement An Agile Workshop by Arexo
On 3rd December 2019, the third session of the Agile Workshop Tour, Arexo’s initiative aimed at sharing knowledge around Agile topics, took place in our offices.
Enthusiast (returning) participants gathered to discuss continuous improvement, a critical element in an Agile process.

After an introduction to continuous improvement as a whole, the focus was then set on Agile Retrospectives. Armed with their first theoretical elements, participants were asked to find a way to improve the journey to the Arexo offices (which, we know, can sometimes be quite complicated due to the street naming).

Multiple solutions now wait for their implementation and an assessment will be performed at the next session.

The afternoon was, once again, designed for more expert participants and we decided to dive into retrospective techniques that can be used in specific, more complex situations such as team alignment, plan for a long term objective or root cause analysis.
Those techniques require a more trained facilitator to be efficient but can provide tremendous results. By the way, you can download our templates for some of them here.

Pies and beers completed the day, as usual.
If you are interested in our Agile trainings or workshop, do not hesitate to get in touch with us at hello@arexo.be. Our next “in house” AWT session will take place on March 13th and will focus on visual management techniques, tailored for each situation.
